Can you believe it's been a year already? I have posted about Tuesday Tunes in a really long time. I've kept this series on hold to give it some breathing room and a chance to focus on other writing. There are other geeky topics I usually write about more on this blog, like TV and gaming for instance. However, I've been missing this series. I do love music too, after all.
As a little refresher to the series, Tuesday Tunes is a way to showcase three videos I find online that have a focus on music. It could be a TV show, a movie, music videos or even a parody. Really! It could be anything as long as there is music featured somehow. This time, I'm going to focus on Ariana Grande.
Here are the three videos I've chosen today:

2. "Into You"
3. "Everyday"
I'm feeling geeky with this week's edition of Tuesday Tunes. I've been catching up on a few video and board games that fell off my radar due to work and other writing priorities. There's not enough time in the week to play through a full game without staying up super late. (And I love sleep!) Though, I'm making more time for them now and while playing these games, I can't help but sing along to some of the standout gaming soundtracks.
For those of you unfamiliar with Tuesday Tunes, I selected one to three videos that has music as its core focus. This could be a music video, a parody, a scene from a movie/TV show or something else along the lines. These are the two most recent editions as examples: #1 and #2.
Here are the three videos I've chosen today:
1. "O Death" from Until Dawn
2. "Still Alive" from Portal
3. Medley of songs from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Today's edition of Tuesday Tunes will be a short one. Instead of the usual format of showcasing three videos that are inspired by music, I will simply be using one video. It could be my love of TV or the nostalgia I'm feeling at the moment, but I've been having random singing fits of old TV theme songs. I'm constantly humming or singing a song to myself that pops into my head. Trust me when I say that I'm not the best singer!
The one that is currently playing the most is the theme song to Hey Arnold! Never heard of the show? Hey Arnold! was a cartoon about kids living in the city and the adventures surrounded a football-headed kid, named Arnold. It was one of the cartoon I loved to watch when I was younger. There unfortunately wasn't a real ending to the series, except for a movie, but even then it didn't tie up all loose ends. It's the downside of the TV world: Potentially never getting an ending to a show. But that's in the past...
For the time being, you can enjoy the theme song and hum along to it like I am. Have fun!
A little music is always a great way to perk up your Tuesday. The Tuesday Tunes series is one I like to go back to every now and then. It's not a requirement, but a nice feature of songs to check out in case you've never heard of them before. I like music and I like finding new songs I can add to my playlist to play on repeat.
As a reminder about Tuesday Tunes, I find find three videos online that has music as a focus. It can be a music video, a parody, a clip from a movie or any other video where music is key part. You can check out the Tuesday Tunes tag to check out all the other editions of the series over the years.

A little time and break was what I needed to clear my mind. It has been a few weeks since my last post and with a couple of things going on in my life, certain moments have kept me away from writing another blog post.
Since it is a Tuesday, I felt a tad inspired to bring back another series of music posts that I occasionally do from time to time. I'm not sure what this section will look like in the coming months; I'm potentially thinking of doing this beyond Tuesdays, but we will ultimately see what happens as it develops.

Slight change today with another post for Tuesday Tunes. I really liked the edition theme from the last entry and I decided to do another one. This week's post will be about bands, groups or artists from the U.K.For those of you new to this blog, on select Tuesdays I search around through YouTube and other sites to find three videos that are music related. They can be music videos, parodies, themes or clips from TV shows that utilize music in some way.
The videos that I have chosen this week include:
1. "Wings" by Little Mix
2. "Troublemaker" by Olly Murs
3. "What About Us" by The Saturdays
Second blog post of the day and I hope everyone's Christmas morning was everything you wanted and more. No real big surprises in terms of gifts for myself - I basically get my own gifts and I know what everyone in my family purchases for under the tree. Though, the real surprise was the awkward drama that followed. (I'll save that for another day!)
One of the gifts I got was a DVD of Pitch Perfect... which took me a while to finally get! I loved the movie and couldn't wait to have a copy for the holidays. My recommendation is definitely watch the film; it will surprise and you will love it. The DVD features a couple of featurettes, including an A Capella music video with the cast, YouTube star Mike Tompkins (pbpproductions) and fans who submitted for a cover of "Starships" by Nicki Minaj.
Since it's Tuesday, let's change up the feature and make this post only one video. The video is so catchy - enjoy!
Tuesday only means one thing: I'm watching a discount movie tonight. Though on a serious note, it's also the next edition of my Tuesday feature. Every Tuesday (or whenever on a day I feel like searching around YouTube), I find three videos that feature music in one way or another.
A music video, parody or even a segment from a television episode or movie. Sometimes I find an old song from the 90s and decide to highlight it for the week.
The 12th post is going to be a little special as two television shows I watched last week caught my eye. Plus, there's Carly Rae which is always special.
The three videos this week are:

2. "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone (performed by Carly Rose Sonenclar on The X Factor)
3. "It's Time" by Imagine Dragons (performed by Darrin Criss on Glee)
Can you believe it has been over eight months since the last edition of this post? New music has been released, bigger hits turn into videos and surprise songs become YouTube hits. I couldn't decide the next article for this site until I saw one of these previous editions reach the Top 10. Looking back at the post date, the previous edition was created back in January!

It`s been a while since my last post but I feel like I`ve found the perfect videos for the next edition of Tuesday Tunes. For those of you unfamiliar with this section, I will choose three videos from YouTube that showcases music as either the focus of the video or used in the background. After a very small hiatus, I am back and ready to start writing again. My days have been busy but my thoughts have always been on coming back to write more pieces to you all amazing people out there. With that in mind, I'm going to dust off an old favourite feature and bring it back for five more iterations before taking a break again. For those of you who are unaware, this feature is called Tuesday Tunes. This feature highlights three videos that focus either highlight or carry an underlining them revolving around music whether it's a music video, a television piece, fan-made or something around a similar archetype.
The three videos that I'm going to highlight this week are:

I'm back again for the fourth edition of this thrilling music feature. I know you were eagerly waiting on the patient side to see which videos I'd choose. Sorry I took some time but I surfed around YouTube to look for music videos that you'd absolutely love in a second. For those of you who are newcomers to this section, you can check out the FIRST, SECOND and THIRD entries for this feature to learn more about past entries and all the latest videos that have been selected. No time like the present to reveal which videos I chosen that feature an underline theme of music.

On Tuesdays, I will choose three videos from YouTube whether they're parodies, artist's videos, movie/music/TV performances, or anything else with an undertone of music (even if it's just in the background) that catches my interest. I will then post those three videos here for you all to see.
